Mk1 1984 Fiat Uno 55s

Here for sale is my 1984 Mk1 Fiat Uno 55s that I'm reluctantly selling after only a couple of weeks ownership. I'm a fan of old Fiats and Retro cars and I had intended this to be my daily run about, but due to a possible house purchase I'm having to sell one or two of my toys. The Uno, according to a website is the only 1984 Uno 55 Super on the road making it extremely rare.

The car is in very good condition for a 28 year old car and especially good for a 28 year old Fiat Uno. From what I can see, the only area of concern is the bottom of both doors which are showing the normal rust issues associated with fiats of this era (I have a classic Panda that had this problem for which I was able to repair) Underneath looks to be all solid as do the top of the suspension mounts. The passenger Sill has a small rust spot which could possibly be filled. Unfortunately today the driver's door catch broke, so now the door has to be opened from the pasenger side.

The car drove 200 miles home without any issues and in fact averaged an impressive 50mpg. It starts straight away using its manual choke and ,drives smoothly through all the gears. I would, however, recommend giving the car a good service as unfortunately i do not have any History with the car.

The Uno has the addition of rare period aftermarket plastic wheel arch mouldings which are similiar to the Uno Turbos and a front bumper spoiler.

The car is currently Taxed and MOT'd until the end of the month so can be driven away legally. I would encourage anyone interested to come have a look so you know exactly what you're buying- I have nothing to hide.... Just bare in mind it's a 28 year old car so it's not going to be cosmetically perfect.

Today I've lifted the carpet off the rear suspension turrets to have a look at the condition and noticed they've been welded at somepoint but obviously are now solid. Pictures added to help show condition of car.
