the car needed new brakes but they are still fine at the moment. the time I have had it all I have had to do is replace the battery (it starts like a dream now) and a new clutch slave cylinder. Engine-wise, the car is in pretty decent condition for its age and has given me no significant problems. There is a shade over 90000 on the clock. On the negative side, there is a regular "clonking" sound from under the car in lower gears. I am told by our local garage that this is due to a worn joint gaitor. Also there is some corrosion around the edges. The central break light is damaged (although the two side break lights are fully functional.)
