Fiat Cinquecento Spares or Repair

Here we have for sale my son's beloved Fiat Cinquecento.

Bought 2 years ago when he passed his test and was everything we hoped it would be.

Very reliable. Cheap insurance (Group 1). Very economical on fuel easily returning 45mpg. Easy to park.

When he went away to University I used it to go to work and around town

GOOD POINTS

Clean and tidy with no rust

MOT'd 'til October 29th 2012  (Have last 4 MOT certificates)

Very low mileage for year of 51,000

Sporting alloys fitted

2 new tyres, clutch cable and rear brakes fitted for MOT

BAD POINTS

As you can see from the photos my son had an accident in it.  He hit a grass verge trying to avoid a stupid pheasant on a country road.

The bumper was pushed back which creased the driver's wing, broke the headlight, snapped the fanbelt and killed the radiator. (see later photos)

A friend of mine took the bumper off, straightened the brackets, replaced the fan belt and radiator and pulled the wing a little straighter.

Unfortunately when he started it up he discovered what he thinks is a head gasket gone. (The consequence of my son driving it home with no water in the damaged radiator)

Therefore we are offering it for spares or repair. Would make a good project for someone with the correct knowledge.

It would need new headgasket, headlight, radiator fan and ideally a replacement wing and bumper (1 bracket broken)

My son can't afford to get it fixed.

Does start and run, but would ideally need to be trailered away.

Currently sorned and tax refunded
